All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present. Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.

戴立忍,梁靜,翟子陌,孔宋今,安琥,張瑤電臺主持人卓鎮濤（戴立忍 飾）極富才氣，他主持的情感心理節目深受廣大聽眾喜愛。他還有一個令人羨慕的家庭，妻子（梁靜 飾）賢良持家，長女曉藝是T臺的新星，兒子曉柏（翟文斌 飾）是有名的造型師，小女曉芊更是清新可人，伹隨著妻子在水族館的不幸遇害，這個美滿的家庭發生了巨大變化。警方確認為他殺，而卓鎮濤因忙于工作疏于家庭從而背上了很大的心理包袱。三個孩子為兩任妻子所生，而兩任妻子全都死于非命。曉藝把責任一鼓腦推給爸爸，雖說同父異母的孩孒們相處融洽，但作為心理專家的卓鎮濤確實難辭其究。隨著又一樁詭異事件的發生，真相即將浮出水面......
