　　主人公は二人兄弟の弟。東京で一人暮らしをしていたが、ある時、彼女とのセックスの最中に中出ししていいか聞いてしまったが故に（というわけでもないのだが）徹底的に嫌われ捨てられてしまう。傷心の彼は長野の実家に戻る。実家には母と兄夫婦が住んでいる。兄（本多菊雄）は家業(yè)の竹籠作りで生計を立てている無愛想な職人で、勝手に家を出て好き勝手にやっていた弟を快く思っていない。母は「（兄曰く）ただの癌」で入院して不在。主人公を優(yōu)しく迎えたのは、兄嫁（葉月螢）だけだった。                                        　　しかし兄は、この嫁の素樸さに飽きているのか母親が入院している先の看護婦（夜は居酒屋の手伝い。佐々木ユメカ）と浮気している。捨てられた東京の戀人を忘れられない弟は、兄に連れられて行った居酒屋でその看護婦と會い、その後兄に內緒でこっそり彼女と関係を持つ。まあすぐバレるのだが。                                        　　兄は「離婚してもいいと思ってる..海外影視

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
