The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
快樂獵殺
Martin Dingle Wall,Ken Lally,C.J. Baker,Gary Sturm一個酗酒的二逼必須跟另一幫沙漠里面腦子有病的殘忍土老帽兒玩兒被獵殺的游戲，你覺著他能堅持到最后么 五名酗酒者, 成為貝德福德平原狩獵小鎮的狩獵對象, 而沃倫則是佼佼者, 他們與鎮民展開了輸死搏斗, 面對全副武裝的鎮民, 他們能否逃出升天? 得知前女友在墨西哥過世而且留下他們的女兒，酒鬼沃倫決定當個好父親，開始戒酒並前去接回女兒。途經一座沙漠小鎮停車休息，卻在當地意外陷入昏迷；再醒來後，沃倫發現自己恰巧遇上小鎮的狩獵季節，而獵物竟是沃倫與其他旅客！除了要應付鎮民的瘋狂追殺，同時還要克服不斷襲來的戒斷癥狀，沃 倫能否順利逃出沙漠，與女兒共享天倫之樂？
暗魔怨
彼得·費辛利,索菲婭·邁爾斯,娜塔莉亞·羅蒙絲,卡羅利娜·格拉,胡安·巴勃羅·甘博亞大衛（彼得·費辛利 Peter Facinelli 飾）的妻子英年早逝，之后他遇見了名為勞倫（索菲亞·邁爾斯 Sophia Myles 飾）的女子，兩人墜入了情網，勞倫讓大衛重新找到了人生的希望和目標。大衛和前妻生養了一個女兒取名吉爾（娜塔莉亞·羅蒙絲 Nathalia Ramos 飾），正直叛逆期的她獨自居住在哥倫比亞。 某日，大衛和勞倫踏上前往哥倫比亞的旅途探望女兒，可在途中竟然遭遇了車禍。兩人在暴雨之中找到了一間破舊的旅館棲身，卻在無意之中聽見旅館的地下室里傳來年輕女孩的呼救之聲。正義和道德驅使大衛決定解救這名可憐的女孩，卻不知道他的這一行為將在場的所有人推入了萬劫不復的深淵之中。
六度戰栗
愛德華·福隆邁可透過一張光碟，參加了一場刺激的游戲，在月黑風高的晚上他發現自已稍稍走進一間屋子并從廚房拿刀子殺死一個沈睡著的男人當邁可醒來時他興奮極了，這一生他從沒有這么刺激和開心過，第二天當他看到新聞。天啊！那件謀殺案真的發生了嗎？后來第二張CD又寄來了，他決定結束這場荒謬的游戲，但主謀者從邁可的電腦中走出來，他竟是一具有形象的＂人＂，并且一再要脅邁可再玩下去，也挑唆他面對恐懼和幻象，邁可就像受催眠一般他無處可逃，主謀者已經完全控制了他使他分不清什么是真什么是假……
格拉德貝克人質事件
薩沙·亞歷山大·吉爾薩克,亞歷山大·謝爾,Marie Rosa Tietjen,阿爾布雷希特·舒赫故事發生在1988年的德國，漢斯（薩沙·亞歷山大·吉爾薩克 Sascha Alexander Ger?ak 飾）和迪特（亞歷山大·吉爾 Alexander Scheer 飾）搶劫了位于北威州格拉德貝克的德意志銀行，并且劫持了兩名銀行職員作為人質，帶著他們一起踏上了逃往的旅途?！ 『芸欤撠煷税傅倪~澤警探就展開了對于漢斯一行人的追捕。為了鉗制警方，漢斯的女友瑪麗昂（Marie Rosa Tietjen 飾）又劫持了一輛載有三十名乘客的公交車，來幫助男友脫離警方的追捕。因為歹徒手中的人質數量眾多，導致德國警方遲遲無法下手，引來了輿論和媒體的不滿，與此同時，迪特在一次意外中射殺了年僅14歲的少年曼紐埃爾，這場死亡事件將整個故事推上了高潮。
瘦身男女
劉德華,鄭秀文,王天林,林雪,黑川力矢,佐膝佳次Mini Mo（鄭秀文飾）遭受失戀的打擊后，飲食失去控制后體重升至260磅，窈窕身材不再。她與初戀情人黑川約定在十年后的日本相見，但舊貌不再的她深感自卑。偶然相識了跟她同樣體型極胖的肥佬（劉德華飾），肥佬非常同情她，決定要幫她重塑魔鬼身材。肥佬以地獄式減肥方法鍛煉Mini，為了讓她減肥成功，得到更多的金錢讓她上專業美容院減肥，肥佬不惜在街頭被拳擊換取酬勞。令Mini感動不已?！ ini恢復原貌前去赴約，黑川向她提出求婚，可是她心中仍念念不忘為她默默付出的肥佬，盼望跟他重逢的一天。
