一名被困在公寓里的年輕人，門外有一群惡魔，他必須找到一種方法度過夜晚，逃離213號公寓。

 少年田勁的父母早年為了將西醫帶入藏地做出了無數的犧牲，由于無法適應高原的生活，田勁的媽媽帶著尚在襁褓中的兒子返回內地，爸爸拉格巴則在高原繼續著他的事業。數年過后，媽媽病故，無依無靠的田勁來到高原尋找爸爸，然而心中卻藏著無數的怨恨。拉格巴終日忙碌行醫，任憑兒子自行學習牧羊。某天，田勁遭到狗熊的威脅，幸虧一只金色的藏獒相助，后來更因種種機緣讓他與這只名叫多吉的藏獒成為最親密的朋友。與此同時，草原上出現了專門殘害生靈的惡魔，牧民的平靜生活被徹底打破……本片根據楊志軍的小說《藏獒》改編，由中日兩國聯合制作，日本著名漫畫家浦澤直樹還擔任了人設和導演的工作。

　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
