萊斯利·尼爾森,理查德·克里納,凱莉·勒布洛克,美琳達·麥格勞,麥克爾·約克,桑德拉·伯恩哈德,艾倫·坡爾,本杰明·拉特納,杰拉德·普倫科特,鄧肯·弗雷澤,John Walsh,Chick Hearn,瑪麗·布萊克,阿萊克斯·迪亞坤,阿德里安·多瓦爾,埃莉·哈維,Charles Payne,帕特·普羅夫特,薇娜·蘇德,比爾·塔爾林,Shari Lewis一次演奏會上，小提琴家瑞安（萊斯利?尼爾森 Leslie Nielsen 飾）邂逅了美艷婦人勞倫（凱麗?勒布克 Kelly LeBrock 飾），勞倫對他大拋媚眼，嚇得瑞安不知所措。聯合國秘書長羅伯特將到哥倫比亞作反恐演講，勞倫的丈夫希賓負責安排一切。這天瑞安收到了勞倫的邀請，并注明如果他不前來她將自殺。揣揣不安的瑞安如約來到了勞倫的別墅，卻發現希賓早已倒地身亡。突然，一名獨眼獨臂獨腿的男人出現將瑞安擊暈了?！ ‘斎鸢残褋砗?，他已被警察抓了起來，荒謬的是，瑞安謀殺希賓的罪名成立了。盡管他一再分辯，但他還是被押往監獄。途中囚車意外翻下了山崖，大難不死的瑞安開始了亡命天涯，他一方面要逃避追捕，一方面要設法找證據還自己一個清白！

A brilliant scientist, Dr. Roche, perches high above a stormy sea, inventing a powerful explosive, when he and his assistant are kidnapped by an evil businessman, Artigas. Taken by submarine to Artigas' volcano headquarters, Roche is tricked into developing his experiment for evil intentions. The scientist’s assistant, Simon, struggles all the while to free himself and warn Roche. A magical world of baroque submarines and sailing ships, killer octopus, undersea bicycles dazzles audiences as human actors, puppetry, animation and fanciful scenic design interact to create a cinematic experience that is unique by any standards. Mixing slapstick comedy, action adventure pacing and Mélies style film magic, this little known Czechoslovakian gem transcends the juvenile literature at its source to create cinematic art of the highest order....
