好像一切都很糟糕

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　任慕英（梁家輝 飾）是一個(gè)單親爸爸，以教授鋼琴來撫養(yǎng)女兒Ellen（蔡卓妍 飾）長大。可是女兒升上Band 5后就變得越來越不聽話，令任慕英十分擔(dān)心。Ellen一直覺得爸爸十分“娘娘腔”，覺得自己就算有什么麻煩，爸爸也是不可靠的人。Ellen的同學(xué)都誤會了她的爸爸是個(gè)江湖高手——慕夜飛鷹，相繼要求拜為師傅，此時(shí)Ellen才對爸爸改觀。但任慕英被誤以為是絕招的身手，不過是在照顧女兒的時(shí)候練出來的。　　女兒開始覺得爸爸老了，可她還是到處惹禍，更被慕夜飛鷹的仇家脅持，任慕英為了救回女兒，獨(dú)自女兒被困的地方……
